About the position:

As an Analyst in the Lending Analytics & Change Management team, you will play a key role in driving strategic transformation across ING Americas Lending. You’ll project manage change initiatives, collaborating with front office and functional teams to implement and streamline processes. There will also be a strong focus on delivering product-level analytics to support capital allocation, loan performance monitoring and data optimization. This position offers exposure to a diverse set of projects across process design, regulatory & risk, digital infrastructure and data domains.

About the department:

Lending is one of the largest teams within ING’s Wholesale Banking division, providing clients with access to capital through a broad suite of financing solutions. The business spans the full credit lifecycle from loan structuring to portfolio management and serves a diverse client base including corporates, sponsors and institutional investors. Analytics & Change Management supports Lending as the front-office center of expertise, focused on product optimization through strategic initiatives, data analytics, digitalization and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management by maintaining detailed workplans, preparing steering materials, and escalating risks or bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery of milestones
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical tools to monitor loan portfolio performance and operational KPIs using tools such as Excel and PowerBI
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc management reporting packages, including origination and secondary loan sale analytics, underperforming client reviews and risk issue remediation plans
  • Assist in the administration of product governance processes, including documentation and tracking of new product approvals, policy changes and control enhancements
  • Conduct data extraction, validation and reconciliation across systems identifying anomalies and supporting remediation efforts in collaboration with technology and operations teams
  • Participate in regional and global working groups, supporting the Lending function’s interface with Head Office on regulatory initiatives, digital tooling and policy implementation

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Banking or Consulting
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Intermediate Excel
  • Program & Project Management
  • Experience in preparing visual Executive Presentations
  • Data Tracking & Analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $72,000-$97,000
