Health Benefits: ING offers robust benefits choices for you and your eligible dependents, to meet your health care and lifestyle needs, including a zero premium high deductible medical plan.

Gift Matching: ING provides a 150% match for employee donations to qualified 501c charities. Donations of up to $2,000 every year will be matched with a corresponding donation of up to $3,000 by ING.

401(k) Savings Plan: The ING 401(k) plan helps you set up for financial security in retirement and maximize the money you will have available, through your own as well as company contributions. ING provides dollar-for-dollar matching of up to 6% of pay based on your contributions.

Vacation and Time Off: Generous leave policy includes vacation days, personal days, wedding leave as well as a day off for the employee’s birthday!

Volunteer Days & Events: We offer employees two volunteer days where they can dedicate their time and effort to helping others. ING spearheads various volunteer events including supporting Habitat for Humanity projects in the tri-state area, New York Common Pantry events and many more.

Education & Development

Student Debt Direct: Eligible employees carrying student debt can sign up to have a monthly subsidy paid directly to their loan provider to help pay it off faster.

Training and Development: Access to resources such as Udemy Business, ING platform My Learning, and other training & development resources to help with sharpening your skills, broadening expertise across business areas, and developing performance to help you stay a step ahead.

Family-Building Benefits

Fertility/Family Planning: ING offers robust fertility/infertility treatment coverage under our medical plans to help support our employees in their family-building journeys. An adoption/surrogacy subsidy is also available to eligible employees. 

Parental Leave: ING’s parental leave policy provides eligible employees with a period of paid time off for activities related to the care and well-being of their newborn, newly adopted, or fostered child.

Back-up Child & Elder Care: Employees can request high-quality back-up care through Bright Horizons. Back-up care is available whenever needed for things like sitter or nanny illnesses, gaps between camp and school, holidays and other needs. 

Flexible Work Model 

Due to the nature of the roles in Financial Markets, Capital Markets & Advisory, & certain Operations functions a hybrid work model may not be available. Please discuss with your recruiter or manager on possibilities. 

Hybrid Work Structure: Our hybrid working modality allows for flexibility—allowing employees and managers to discuss how, when and where work is done—while ensuring appropriate measures remain in place to keep business running as usual.

Commuter Benefit Subsidies: A generous monthly subsidy is available for employees who have transit and/or parking expenses. A portion of these costs is picked up by ING every month, to help support our commuter employees.

Bike Reimbursement Policy: Employees are eligible to receive a reimbursement of 50% of the monthly cost of parking their bicycles near the office. Don’t have a bike but want to jump on the bandwagon? Simply utilize the Citi Bike system, and ING will reimburse you 50% of the annual membership cost.

Health & Wellness 

Healthy Living & Nutrition: ING provides New York-based employees with a subsidized lunch 3 days a week, available in the Big Apple Café.

Wellness Screenings: Health assessments are provided through our health care partners (Cigna and OneMedical) to help employees stay one step ahead of their health care needs. Annual physical is also included at no cost to you, as part of the benefits coverage within our medical plans.

Quarterly Health Fairs: Connects employees with professionals in a wide variety of wellness areas and offers friendly competitions for prizes and challenges to kick-start your health goals. ING employees can also receive their flu shots at no cost during our onsite Health Fair.

Wellness Webinars & Workshops: Healthy habits are supported through our wellness webinars and workshops lead by dedicated healthcare professionals covering topics from nutrition and healthy cooking, to movement and stretching, and more.

TelusHealth® EAP: Our premium EAP, TelusHealth®, is the one-stop employee resource that offers you and your family free, confidential assistance with many issues of daily living, available 24 hours a day.

Financial Planning

Financial Advising: Virtual or in-person coaching with an independent advisor Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Access to one-on-one sessions for guidance on best practices and utilizing the diverse financial benefits offered, spanning across life priorities and financial profiles.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): FSAs can be used to cover your eligible out-of-pocket expenses, such as deductibles, copays, coinsurance and/or childcare services. Restrictions may apply depending on the medical plan you enroll in. These accounts reset annually. Any unused funds are forfeited.

Financial Workshops: Financial workshops are offered throughout the year covering a myriad of topics. Includes tax strategies, retirement planning, understanding Social Security, Investing 101, and more.
