A day in your life

  • Accountable for the design and implementation of end-to-end credit risk change management for all business segments of the bank by focusing on process optimization, execution discipline, and cross-functional collaboration;
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement of credit risk framework based on data driven insights: drive automation and digitization, recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and recommend tools and new technologies
  • Own functional design of credit elements (i.e. credit policy rules or models) needed for efficient and effective management of credit risk within individual portfolio and/or total bank level
  • Accountable for end-to-end credit risk in QBR discussions with segment Tribes, manage dependencies and align priorities; Secures adequate capacity for effective implementation of changes across connected tribes (i.e data, IT) through structured QBR process
  • Own roadmap for delivery of agreed changes and steer execution of credit risk changes new or changes) for end-to-end implementation of changes in credit process and respective engines
  • Functionally steer CoE Reporting and extended teams from ING Hubs Poland
  • Hierarchically lead a team providing inspirational leadership and setting up the strategy of this new domain
  • As part of the CRO MT, act as a strong leader to drive and enable the strategy of ING through effective collaboration and execution of credit changes.
  • Embed and ensure fit-for-purpose change management processes, tooling and governance including alignment with stakeholders, pro-active communication on progress, active management of trade-offs, coordinating QBR for Credit Risk.
  • Drive the vision and strategy of this new tribe by setting-up, leading and integrating  the new teams (Business Banking and PI & PriBa areas, Credit analytics and the fraud management activities)

The team

The role will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer, closely partnering with other risk and business functions.
