Mission

As part of Wholesale Banking Relationship Management team, you will be called to apply in-depth sector, industry and product knowledge to develop, maintain and grow relationships with prospective and existing clients to stimulate and manage demand for financial products and services offered by the organization.

You will use your sector/industry/product knowledge to develop financial solutions, to originate, structure and execute specific transactions for the largest and most sophisticated groups of corporates in Romania and worldwide. To do so, you will work closely with local colleagues from your own team, product specialists and support teams as well as with international colleagues all over the world and will have the opportunity to vastly expand your experience and your personal network.

Your Day to Day

  • Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex existing and prospective corporate customers to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
  • Manage ongoing relationships and provide tailored financial solutions to ensure their needs are met.
  • Deliver on financial and non-financial targets with respect to its assigned portfolio of clients
  • Monitor industry developments and advise clients on potential impacts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues. Recommend changes to policies, processes, standards and practices that would improve operational support.
  • Meet with clients & attend industry events (Travel will be required).

What you bring to the team

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in relationship management, preferably within the large corporates area.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of complex corporate clients.
  • Deep understanding and familiarity with industry regulations, market trends, and key players in the energy sector (including renewable energy, oil and gas, utilities) or the automotive and transportation sector would be a clear advantage/differentiator.
  • Financial analysis and credit assessment skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other financial tools.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to the region are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic industry.
