Your day-to-day

  • Plan, develop, execute and optimize the Social Media annual strategy that supports the business objectives;
  • Together with the creative, digital  and media agencies plan & develop stand-alone and always-on Social Media campaigns and activations that serve the Marketing objectives;
  • Work closely with the agencies in order to deliver the necessary materials for all the Social Media campaigns;
  • Manage daily aspects of all Social Media related initiatives, relying on both internal and external resources; respond directly or provide the necessary support to respond to all posts related to the company, maintaining a professional and accurate line of communication on behalf of ING;
  • Collaborate with other departments (Customer Care & Service, Corporate Communication, Human Resources, Business Banking, Antifraud, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key opinion leaders and develop activities meant to generate positive awareness & engagement;
  • Integrate Social Media tactics with Marketing, Employer Branding and Recruiting campaigns as needed; 
  • Manage Social Media and Influencer Marketing campaigns development and regular report the results to brand managers & management;
  • Analyse, test and open new Social Media channels, considering their relevance for the business objectives and develop all the necessary documentation as neded;
  • Create and manage the Social Media editorial calendar for all Social Media channels;
  • Ad-hoc support for other Marketing projects both Retail and Business Banking;
  • Educate & offer coaching support to the internal teams on the particularities of the Social Media space;
  • Continuously improve by analysing the internal relevant social data & metrics, insights, best practices, and then acting upon them;
  • Constantly monitor, test, analyse and improve the Social Media performance metrics;
  • Minimize reputational risk and other risks exposure in digital environment, not only in Social Media. The Sr Social Media Manager is also part of the Crisis Communication Committee;
  • Together with the Social Media monitoring & reporting agency monitor the daily Social Media landscape and produce in depth analysis that will be sent to the relevant stakeholders (daily, weekly, monthly, mid-year, final year reports);
  • Monitor and improve online conversations resulted from Social Media activities, other marketing efforts and Customer Care & Service activities;
  • Partner with Products Department, Risk, Legal, Compliance etc. teams to develop and enhance compliant processes, policies, standards and procedures to ensure the most effective delivery of Social Media activities;
  • Develop benchmark materials from the Romanian campaigns meant to be shared with the business units that are part of ING Group;
  • Keep records of all contracts and expenses related to the Social Media activities;
  • Maintain an ongoing assessment of estimated financial performance vs. targets within budgetary guidelines;
  • Demonstrate awareness for new technologies, best practices and trends in Social Media;

What you bring to the team

  • University degree;
  • At least 2 years experience in Social Media marketing, content marketing and/or PR;
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, etc.) and management tools, influencer marketing and gaming;
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas and solutions and partner effectively with Marketing and other creative teams;
  • Outstanding digital content developer & digital content management experience;
  • Strong analytical and data-driven thinking;
  • Process & results orientation;
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, across all organizational level;
  • Proficient level of English.
