Cloud Reporting API Developer

We are looking for you, if:

• You have very good communication skills in English (written and oral)

• You can work with our development stack, to develop API's and ETL processes

               •             Golang/Java/Python 

               •             Openshift/Kubernetes/Docker/CRD 

               •             Apache Kafka 

               •             Cassandra, Oracle DB, PostgreSql 

               •             Elasticsearch/logstash/kibana 

               •             Prometheus, Grafana

• You have strong problem-solving skills

• You have experience with maintaining applications on Linux platform (RedHat)

• You like to work on global solutions

You’ll get extra points for:

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like: Azure DevOps, GIT

• Knowledge of IaC tools like: Ansible, Terraform

• Knowlegde of LISP, and being able to transform that to Golang or Java/Python

• Experience with middleware like Tomcat and Nginx

Your responsibilities:

• Maintain and support a reporting API, showing the performance of the ING Private Cloud platform

• Design, maintain, extend and support the inclusion of data sources that can enhance the information in the reporting API

• Create user documentation for the use of Reporting API

• Incidents and requests management

• Meetings (scrum events, calls with customers), includes occassional travel to Amsterdam (about 4 times per year)

Information about the squad:

For our ING Private Cloud Reporting API team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer technically passionate, solution-focused and able to contribute to design, maintain and support of API and the required backend systems. The Reporting API team is a part of ING Private Cloud area of ING.

We are responsible for delivering and maintaining the Reporting API providing in self-service model that provides insight into the performance of IPC, to see for all ING Group units all over the world. We're highly motivated and stay focused to give to our customers fully integrated, compliant and reliable service, so that they could automate their day-to-day activities.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Engineer"(Engineer III or Engineer IV, depends on level of experience of a chosen candidate).
