Risk Analyst - 3rd Party Management (Business Banking)

We are seeking a Safe Business Analyst – 3rd Party Management to join our Business Banking team.  This role is pivotal in supporting the onboarding, oversight, and ongoing management of third-party suppliers and distribution partners. You’ll work closely with Procurement, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Risk teams to ensure third-party engagements are effective, efficient, and compliant with regulatory and internal standards.

What you’ll do

  • Support the selection, onboarding, and management of third-party suppliers and partners in line with ING’s procurement and risk frameworks.
  • Plan and execute the annual calendar of third-party management activities, including contract reviews, risk assessments, and due diligence.
  • Act as the liaison between business service owners and third parties to ensure clear communication and alignment, monitoring and managing service value with Business
  • Coordinate contract, service and process updates and activities related to regulatory, policy, or business changes related to third parties.
  • Conduct contract audits and monitor supplier performance against SLAs.
  • Support business continuity planning and ensure resilience across third- and fourth-party services.
  • Provide reporting and insights on third-party usage, value, and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation and evidence to support audits and control testing.

What we’re looking for

  • 5–10 years’ experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry.
  • Excellent understanding of third-party risk, procurement, and business continuity processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as AML/KYC, CPS230, DDO, Privacy, and Modern Slavery.
  • Experience in operational risk management, including risk assessments and control testing.
  • Analytical mindset with strong data fluency and attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented.
