IT gets you excited. You love to think analytically and conceptually. You courageously dive into complex systems. If you’re also interested in the real human user behind all this, then this is the perfect apprenticeship for you.
This apprenticeship gives you the power to see the big picture when it comes to IT. You’ll learn about and understand many IT topics from various angles. You understand why we are always finding new opportunities to make our customers’ banking needs easier to handle.
You’re all in from day one. You are part of the team, such as when our highly complex systems and networks are planned, installed and continuously improved. And in your daily work, you’ll learn how to collaborate with many different departments.
Theory and practice
During your apprenticeship, you’ll split your time between studies at an occupational school and practical experience with on-site or mobile work (by arrangement).
In the process, you’ll learn how to:
- conceptualize and create IT systems
- integrate hardware and software components
- start up and administer IT systems
- analyse, optimise and digitalise business and production management processes
- design customer-specific system solutions in the IT area
- compare, select and use tools for process optimization
One more thing: For us, it is important that you enjoy what you do – it’s every bit as important as your career development. We offer seminars and workshops where you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your skills.
This is what you offer:
- A good college-prep secondary school record (e.g. Abitur) or very good record in a general education school (e.g. Realschule)
- Passion for IT topics
- Joy in learning, creating structures and self-motivated working in a team
- Good communication skills and consideration for others.
Duration: Two and a half years
Location: Nuremberg, Frankfurt
Here’s what we offer you:
- For all courses of study, we offer the same fair monthly apprenticeship remuneration: 1.300 euros gross in the first year; 1.370 gross euros in the second year; and 1.450 euros gross in the third year.
- Collectively agreed remuneration of 13 gross monthly salaries plus (depending on the fiscal year) a possible 75% monthly salary as a year-end remuneration.
- “Nikolaus” bonus of gross 1.500 euros
- Health budget: 300 euros per year
- Capital-forming benefits: 40 euros per month

- Reduced-cost menus in company restaurants
- Working hours: 39 hours per week
- Holiday: 30 days for full-time
