In our Digital Channels Tribe we are looking for a Digital Customer Journey expert for Digital Sales and Data NL team. Within Digital NL we are responsible for Digital sales and the engagement/experience on ing.nl and the ING app. 

Every day we have millions of interactions with customers. Customers who do their daily banking, but also customers who are looking for a financial product. 

What will you do?

You are exceptionally skilled at spotting opportunities in the customer journey based on data and turning them into concrete actions. Where you see opportunities, you also bring them to life. You are running digital marketing campaign with a commercial and customer centric mindset. You don’t wait—you act, and you thrive when working independently. You take ownership of your responsibilities and initiate new ideas to improve the customer journey. With your open mindset, you continuously ask yourself (and others): ‘What is possible?’. 

How are you successful? 

You are commercial, entrepreneurial , have a passion for the customer, but certainly also for the field of digital marketing and sales. You work data-driven, are not afraid to work in a complex organization and have the ambition to further grow your career within a few years. In summary, we expect the following from you: 

  • 3–5 years of work experience in digital marketing 

  • Experience in activating and managing online campaigns 

  • Experience in setting up and analysing A/B tests 

  • Experience in optimizing customer journeys 

  • Strong ability to interpret data into actionable insights 

  • Excellent command of the Dutch & English language 

  • Completed HBO or WO education 

Your work environment: 

You will work in the Area Digital NL. Within this area, we are involved in all Digital (Marketing) activities for our private products and propositions. We activate people via external channels, personalize customer journeys and provide our 8.1 million customers with personalized insights into our app. We do all this via the agile method. So we work in short cycles, are data-driven and we experiment with the aim of continuously improving. Other things that we consider important within Digital are:
