The team

You will work in the Trainee Management team, part of the Circle Talents & Career within HR Netherlands. This team of 3 trainee managers is responsible for selecting and supervising trainees in the ING International Talent Programme. In your daily work, you have a lot of contact with trainees and colleagues from the business, you are given responsibility in the selection process and you organize (in person and virtual) events. There is a lot of room for you to develop your own initiatives and enhance your personal development. So, if there are specific things you want to learn, we will give you that opportunity!

Roles and responsibilities

Very diverse! Firstly, you will be given responsibilities in the selection process of new the trainees. In this process, you maintain close contact with various parties in the selection process, such as the trainee managers, campus recruiters, the Employer Brand Activation team and current trainees.

Together with a colleague, you organize a 2-day onboarding that is held in April and October for each new group of trainees and help organize virtual and live events. You will be given the space to take on responsibilities from A to Z, including the implementation of the program, internal and external communication, planning, budgeting, and running the event itself.

You will also ensure the administration of, for example, registrations for training courses. Finally, you will help your colleagues in the team with visual tasks; think, for example, of making inspiring presentations, managing agendas, or checking data in various systems.

You are 100% part of the team and sharing your opinion and taking the initiative is highly appreciated! So you also have the freedom about the content of your internship and you can discuss with your team what you would like to learn and how you would like to grow.

As an intern in the Trainee Management team, you are also part of the internship board. Together with three to four other interns you organize workshops, events, and meet-ups for all ING interns. A great challenge for you to show your creativity and to get to know and inspire fellow interns.
