The team

We are ING, a global financial institution with a strong European base, committed to providing outstanding banking services. Our Community Engagement team is part of the Global Communications, Brand, and MarCom department, focusing on boosting engagement within our organization through innovative tactics, internal events (off-sites, virtual global team sessions), learning and development programmes (certified trainings, masterclasses), and more.

Roles and responsibilities

During your internship, you will support several initiatives designed to enhance community engagement. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in creating and sharing content on our internal community platforms
  • Supporting the organization of internal events, both in-person and online, including venue scouting and logistics

  • Engaging with our community to ensure an active and connected environment
  • Gathering and reporting on basic engagement metrics to help optimize community activities

We hire smart people like you for your potential. Our biggest expectation is that you’ll stay curious. Keep learning. Take on responsibility. In return, we’ll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself.

We are looking for an enthusiastic student who is eager to learn and contribute to community engagement efforts.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a WO student in Communication, Marketing, Human Resources, International Business, or a related field
  • Passionate about people engagement and interested in events planning or internal communications
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and Microsoft 365

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with organizing events
  • Experience with creating social content
  • Knowledge of engagement metrics and analytics

Rewards and benefits

This is a great opportunity to train with highly skilled people who are experts in their field. You’ll do a lot and learn a lot – not only about your specialist area and the bank, but also about yourself and whether this type of environment is right for you.

You’ll also benefit from:

  • Internship allowance of 700 EUR based on 36-hour work week
  • Your own work laptop
  • Hybrid working to blend home working for focus and office working for collaboration and co-creation
