About the Role

As a Data Analyst Level IV within Tribe Investment, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across investment products and commercial cycles. You will lead complex analytical initiatives, support strategic product development, and collaborate with cross-functional squads to optimize investment performance, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced analytics and reporting across investment products and portfolio performance.
  • Build scalable, high‑quality data models grounded in consistent business logic.
  • Translate business questions into clear analytical and data requirements.
  • Develop and maintain KPI, sales, and performance dashboards.
  • Deliver accurate insights that drive informed commercial and strategic decisions.
  • Uncover trends in investor behavior, product performance, and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Product, CX, and Engineering teams to embed analytics into products and customer journeys.
  • Safeguard data quality, consistency, and reliability across investment datasets.
  • Support regulatory and compliance reporting through trusted dashboards.
  • Automate recurring reporting workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Advocate for data literacy and promote data‑driven decisions across Tribe Investment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • (Senior) Data Analyst with 7+ years of experience in financial services, specializing in investment and wealth analytics; able to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and deliver fit‑for‑purpose data products.
  • Design and maintain robust KPI frameworks to evaluate business performance and detect emerging trends.
  • Perform hands‑on analysis to support BAU activities, track departmental KPIs, and generate new insights.
  • Shape and implement a coherent data and analytics strategy for ING Investment in Belgium, adapting it where needed across territories.
  • Expert in SQL (must‑have), proficient in Python/R, and highly skilled with Power BI, Excel, SAS Modelling; familiar with broader data tooling ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and performance metrics across mutual funds, ETFs, and discretionary mandates.
  • Experienced in segmentation, behavioral analytics, and performance attribution.
  • Skilled at translating complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights for varied audiences.
  • Thrive in fast‑paced agile environments, collaborating effectively across cross‑functional squads and managing diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong experience with investment products and the related data landscape.
  • High analytical aptitude with proven ability to solve complex data problems.
  • Skilled at linking data patterns to real‑world business behavior.
  • Hands‑on experience with statistics and model development.
  • Able to convert analytical output into practical, actionable solutions.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, trend detection, and machine learning in investment contexts.
  • Familiar with data platforms and data‑governance best practices.
  • Naturally curious and motivated to understand systems and data “under the hood.”
  • Capable of designing and delivering training, workshops, and coaching to strengthen team‑wide analytical capabilities.
