The Mission

Your day to day

• Responsible for building high performant models, reports and dashboards in the BI Platform Cognos Analytics within ING Group Services

• Understand business requirements to make sure that the reports and dashboards are fulfilling the stakeholders’ needs

• Using Agile SCRUM principles to deliver, maintain and extend the data analytics & reporting platform

• Proactive in formulating and managing processes and standards, as we are working in a global context, for a global BI Platform

• Proactive in identifying potential risks and issues, which will cause deviations from global standards and impact the performance of the reports

What you’ll bring to the team

Experience: 1+ Years of experience as Reporting Developer(Cognos, Power BI etc)

Knowledge:

- Mandatory:

• 1+ Years of experience as Reporting Developer(Cognos, Power BI etc), building data models, reports and dashboards

• Experience in dealing with large quantities of data (and performance tuning)

• Good SQL knowledge and experience with Oracle databases

- Nice to have:

• Experience with report automated testing would be considered a plus Ability to gather and translate requirements

• Experience in banking sector would be a plus

• DWH experience would be considered a plus

• Experience with pair programming

• Passionate about data insights

Foreign languages: Excellent written and spoken English skills

Education: nice to have Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT related field
