Formerly known as ING Tech, as of 2022 we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities under the name of ING Hubs Romania and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj.

With the help of 1400 engineers, risk and operations professionals, we offer 150 services in tech, non-financial risk & compliance, audit and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide.

Our tech capabilities remain the core of our business, with more than 1100 colleagues active in Data Management, TouchPoint Channels & Integration and Core Banking.

Mission

We are currently hiring a Recruitment manager to lead the talent acquisition function and help the organization hire top talent in a timely & efficient manner.

In this role, you will hierarchically oversee a team of 8 recruiters and be responsible for driving and implementing the recruitment strategy for the entire organization at the level of the 3 existing business units: Tech, Non-Financial Risk & Compliance and Retail Operations. As people manager, you will take responsibility of the development and the evaluation of the team, but also you will have to cover administrative and reporting tasks.

Your day to day

  • Lead your team to achieve projected team recruiting goals annually
  • Plan and establish goals and objectives for the team
  • Coach the team to create and foster high touch relationships with active and passive candidates, as well as hiring managers
  • Keep a recruiting process fast, efficient, and human at all stages, revising process when needed
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
  • Stay on top of the latest recruiting strategies, market movements, and company changes
  • Facilitate shared accountability with the business and hiring managers working with you as Partners
  • Provide advice on the interpretation and application of internal policies and procedures
  • Build effective working relationships and provide high quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans
  • Keep in touch with business stakeholders, both locally and internationally
  • Deliver presentations to the board members of local IT branch, but also to other stakeholders from ING Group

What you bring to the team

  • Previous experience as a Recruitment Lead, with extensive experience in tech recruitment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently, ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – understanding the business needs and became a true partner for hiring managers
  • Mindset of continuous improvement of the service and way of working.
  • Strong team player who takes responsibility
  • Independent and autonomous in completing tasks; result oriented; adapts approaches to situations
  • Passionate about major trends in recruitment area, stays up to date on latest innovations
  • Knowledge of social media and professional networks
  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in Romanian as well as in English
  • Previous experience with vendors management will be a plus
