Infrastructure Engineer @ING Hubs Romania

The Mission

The Infrastructure Chapter (team) delivers services & solutions used by ING Hubs Romania & other ING Group entities. The team is responsible for network management and internal IT assets custodianship including system administration, virtualization and application support.

Your day to day

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

• Install, manage and configure servers running multiple operating systems (Linux /RHEL);
• Ensures the availability of servers in accordance with the established SLAs and response time;
• Install, manage and configure software applications used in the management process of Infrastructure / Workplace equipment / solutions;
• Keeping systems up to date in terms of patching and IT security requirements
• Provides guidance and support to developers for any Infrastructure related topic (hardware, operating system, networking etc.);
• Creates and keeps up to date required documentation related to all systems/solutions in his/her area of responsibility;
• Identifies, implements and tests back-up and recovery procedures
• Acts as a contact point with all ING entities on all Infrastructure related aspects (including Private cloud, Active directory, DNS & DHCP etc.).

What you’ll bring to the team

• Experience: at least 3 years of experience in a similar position (infrastructure engineer/ sys admin);
• Tech stack/ knowledge:
  • Mandatory: Linux, Virtualization, Cloud
• Foreign languages:English (advanced);
• Education: nice to have Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT related field.
