We're looking for a passionate Product Manager to join the new Payments Tribe and Payments Wizards squad, a squad that plays a critical role in shaping the payments journeys of our private individual clients.

Your day to day

  • Drive the strategy for payments, shaping multi-stream initiatives and contributing insights that influence long-term strategic decisions and execution planning.
  • Lead strategic customer-journey mapping for digital payments, identifying structural gaps, defining the vision for end-to-end experiences, and setting clear strategic priorities for development and improvement.
  • Translate data and market insights into strategic opportunities, exploring trends, customer behaviours and regulatory developments to inform product direction and differentiate ING’s payments offering.
  • Coordinate and align cross-functional delivery, ensuring that product, risk, tech, UX and commercial teams execute the strategy consistently across journeys and channels.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of payment products, ensuring strategic coherence, sustained competitiveness, and alignment with customer needs and the bank’s business objectives.
  • Build strong stakeholder alignment, anticipating needs, influencing key decisions, and ensuring that strategy, insights and execution remain connected throughout the delivery of payment journeys.

What you bring to the team

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management or similar roles involving customer journeys, digital products or business transformation.
  • A strong action-oriented mindset, with the ability to take quick, independent decisions and turn challenges into opportunities.
  • Ability to manage complexity, navigate large data sets or multi-layered situations, and translate insights into clear actions.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with discipline, customer focus and a collaborative mindset.
  • A positive, accountable attitude, with openness to challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication abilities, capable of presenting findings in a structured, inspiring and persuasive way to diverse stakeholders.
