About the team

Join a team of dedicated professionals committed to maintaining the integrity of ING's customer relationships. We are responsible for customer due diligence, data quality, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting a seamless customer experience. Working closely with multiple stakeholders across the bank, we help prevent financial crime and contribute to a secure and sustainable banking environment.

Your day to day

  • Review and verify customer documentation and personal data in accordance with KYC and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure customer records are accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner across internal systems

  • Assess higher-risk customer relationships and gather the necessary information to support approval or remediation decisions

  • Collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, and other stakeholders to resolve data quality and due diligence requirements

  • Contribute to the prevention of financial crime by maintaining high standards of customer due diligence and risk awareness

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.

What you bring to the team

  • At least 1 year of experience in the banking industry, ideally in an operational, KYC, compliance, or customer due diligence role

  • Good understanding of KYC, CDD, and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on accuracy and risk awareness

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background, preferably in Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work efficiently with multiple systems and applications

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance compliance requirements and service excellence

  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to achieving common goals.
