The Data Governance Professional is a key role for Wholesale Data Management. The Data Governance Professional is responsible for alignment with the Global framework for Data Governance in his / her domain and for its implementation in order to fulfill the required Data Management capabilities. He / she would oversee, control and enforce the ING Data Governance framework which includes exercise of authority and control over the management of Data assets. He / she shall also facilitate the establishment of appropriate communication mediums to shift ING’s culture to be more Data driven.

As WB Data Governance Professional, you will set up and maintain Data Governance processes and assist Data Management roles (such as Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Definition Owners, Data Governance Owner, etc.) as expert on Data Governance topics. The role also involves being informed and consulted for various Data Management processes.
