You will be responsible for correct and timely processing of all Financial Markets – ING NL and BE Brokerage & Custody Invoices and Nostro Invoices of all ING Entities. This will be completed through tariff checking using the Fee Schedule agreements, book allocation, and creation of payment instructions. Other tasks that you will be accountable for will be Opening & Closing of Accounts and the Nostro & Loro Account Data Maintenance & Reconciliations.

As the processes are post-transactions, the team will be the one of the control of ING in preventing the firm from incurring unnecessary cost and provide overview of the Brokerage & Custody cost that ING incurs on a monthly or yearly basis. Having all the overview of the cost from our Custodian Banks or Brokers, ING will be able to negotiate to lower the fees from external parties and this will eventually be a savings for the firm. For Account Maintenance, the main purpose is to centralize the Opening & Closing of accounts that requires approval from Global Heads. The team mitigates the risk exposure of ING by limiting the accounts opened with external banks.
