Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic FrontEnd Engineer to join our Consumer LendingTeam.

Your key responsibilities:

As an Frontend Engineer, your aim will be:

To design, develop and test the code that will shape the different components of the application, ensuring that they meet the requirements of functionality, quality and performance.

To deliver in Production a working software by giving the best use to technology and development practices. It includes the documentation and parameters that can help reaching that goal. To support Production by analysis and fixing any bugs that occurs. Contribute to improve the technical discipline by collaborating with the cross technical chapter.

As an expert in the Frontend area you specifically add value on that technical layer but always keep in mind the rest of the technical stack as part of the Squad responsibilities.

Frontend Development:

Proficiency in JavaScript (ECMAScript 2015+), HTML, CSS

Experience building responsive web applications and interfaces across different devices and screen sizes

Web Components, lightweight, high-performance and reusable native components

Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and their practical application

Optimization techniques and performance tuning strategies

Software Engineering:

Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, Software Craftmanship

Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) mindset

Unit testing fan and experience with Mocha/Jasmine or Chai

Functional programming appetite

Autonomous debugging and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Experience with bundling tools (Webpack/Gulp/Rollup)

Azure

Software Engineering

High curiosity for the business domain and geek-level front-end experience

Good understanding of Agile methodologies

Mentoring and supporting junior engineers in their technical growth

Excellent spoken and written English skills

5+ years of experience working with similar technologies
