Global HR Reporting Process Expert

We are looking for you if:

  • you have experience coordinating (virtual) teams and managing different cultural backgrounds,
  • you have capability to manage Business Intelligence and/or advanced reporting demands and priorities,  preferably in a corporate international environment,
  • you are ambitious and have willingness to drive change, challenge old practices and speak up,
  • you have outstanding conceptual/analytical skills and can tell stories via data visualization.

You'll get extra points for:

  • university degree preferably in Technology, Economics or Business Management. Ideally Masters,
  • experience managing Workday (reporting) and other HR standards applications,
  • skilled in Business Intelligence solutions (such as Power BI or Cognos) and O365 tools,
  • familiar with human resources practices, processes and organizational structures,
  • excellent consultancy skills and are able to craft findings and recommendations into the business language of your stakeholders,
  • familiarized with Data management roles and responsibilities,
  • great leader, able to actively engage with colleagues and stakeholders for the completion of targets and business demands,
  • fluent in English (speaking and writing),
  • senior stakeholder management skills, with a strong focus on keeping the bank safe,
  • pro-active and detail oriented,
  • ability to translate strategy into actions,
  • anticipates and prepares for opportunities and obstacles,
  • presentation and facilitator skills.

Your responsibilities:

  • design, manage, and optimize the reporting tools selected by ING ensuring utilization of standardized catalogues of reports and metrics, including the roll-out of user guidance materials to ensure reports are understood and add value to the organization,
  • as Global Process Excellence Expert in reporting, you’ll be accountable for definition of reporting process and regular maintenance of catalogues, managing lead time in handling business requirements and monitoring usage. This includes responsibilities handling the reporting Change Request demands,
  • coordinate the reporting chapter, sets the standards for the area and takes responsibility for developing, innovating and safeguarding knowledge in the field of expertise,
  • take responsibility on behalf of COO People for the delivery of the Global HR Reporting Solution Project defined by Global HR Data Management Team amongst other priorities for 2025. Delivery on time and according to requirements,
  • establish processes that allow the team to work efficiently and accurately, ensuring team is properly staffed (quality and quantity),
  • focus on (individual) development and continuous improvement of team performance,
  • recognize successes and take appropriate corrective actions where necessary,
  • foster an open, collaborative accountability culture within the team. Encourage team members to share their opinions and know when to listen, empathize, respond, or act on team input,
  • provide advice on complex questions around reporting, dashboards and benchmarking, being able to reconcile data from multiple sources and complying with the key aspects of  data management (governance, protection, retention, quality, etc.),
  • ensure implementation of Data Management Process Control Standards and best practices in Global HR, including consumption of data from Data Lakes and introduction of new BI foundation,
  • act as a bridging point (when necessary) between Global HR and key stakeholders, balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.

Information about the squad:

Amongst other responsibilities, the Global HR Data Management team is accountable for the generation and maintenance of reporting solutions describing Global HR core metrics and processes to facilitate senior management’s data based decision making.

The team includes a group of reporting specialists handling Global HR Data Management Team  and other senior stakeholder information requirements, being mainly responsible for

•           running the Global HR function business intelligence activities for delivery and transformation initiatives;

•           steering the definition of standardized reporting catalogues from Workday (and other tools);

•           deciding on business change requests about reporting.

We are looking for a Global HR Reporting Process Expert who will be coordinating the reporting capability in COO People, reporting to the Global HR Chief Data Officer. You are a key person providing (senior) stakeholders standardized reporting solutions on employee data from GHR Sources of Records, supplying insights that help colleagues and the organization to make better fact based decisions.

Via your constructive, analytical approach and solid communication skills you are able to translate business requirements into suitable and simple tools leveraging your knowledge of HR processes and systems. This means you are capable to lead and coordinate the design and develop of multi-source dashboards and answer ad-hoc queries promptly and accurately, providing information that will be used on strategic, tactical and operational levels on key HR topics like recruitment, turnover, diversity, engagement or organizational structures.
