FCC Intelligence analyst & Lead PPP Office
We are looking for someone who can combine FEC subject matter expertise with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally. The PPP Office is at the centre of ING’s PPP activities and given the current developments in PPP area (such as AMLR) we aim to further professionalize it in the coming year. Collaboration within and outside of our team is key for our team, so this is an excellent opportunity if you are good at cooperating and interacting with senior stakeholders in different areas of the bank and externally.
The team
The FCC Intelligence team is part of Financial Crime Compliance NL and responsible for public-private and private-private cooperation (PPP) related to financial-economic crime (FEC). The team works with other financial institutions and public authorities, such as FIU, OM, Police and FIOD, in partnerships and thematic analyses related to specific topics. Together with these partners we strategically steer these PPP’s and execute projects together. By doing this, we bolster ING’s resilience against FEC threats by improving its information position on the evolving FEC threat landscape and strengthening ING’s risk and control framework.
Roles and responsibilities
In this role your FEC expertise and ability to convey our strategy into actions together with stakeholders are fundamental:
You lead and/or participate projects with public and private partners
You represent ING in different public-private partnerships (such as FEC) and private-private partnerships
You take the lead in professionalizing the PPP Office and help determining and executing the PPP Strategy
You collaborate closely with our PPP stakeholders within the bank and outside of ING
You are able to maximize the impact of PPP activities on the risk and control framework of the bank
You support other members of the team in their development.

We are looking for a team member with the following knowledge and experience:
You have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience in the (international) compliance / financial crime compliance domain. You may also have a professional qualification in AML (CAMS, ICA or equivalent) or experience in working on forensic / FEC investigations and analyses
Good knowledge of data management related regulatory requirements (such as GDPR)
You can work across ING’s business while showing organisational and cultural sensitivity and an ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders across 1LOD / 2LOD
You have extensive experience in working with external stakeholders, both in the public and private area
You can establish plans to determine tasks, priorities, and timelines and identify the resources needed to achieve goals
You have the ability to identify problems, analyse key information and making connections, in order to find appropriate solutions
You show openness to change and alter behaviours in order to work effectively when faced with new information, a changing situation and/or environment and are resilient before adversity
You are an independent thinker with a critical mindset
You are fluent in English (verbal and written) and Dutch (given our PPP relations the latter is an absolute requirement).
You are a FEC expert and passionate about PPP
You are a keen problem solver with strong analytical skills and a can-do mentality
You love complexity and are able to convey a complex message both verbally and written
You are a self-starter, highly collaborative, flexible, and maintaining inclusive relationships
