ING is proud to be recognised as Australia’s most recommended bank. We pride ourselves on being prudent, honest, and responsible in all that we do. As a Senior Manager, Continuity & Resilience Lead, you’ll be part of ING’s COO division, leading a team of two and driving business continuity and resilience strategies across the whole bank.  You will play a critical role in ensuring ING can anticipate, respond to, and recover from disruptive events, safeguarding business continuity across the organization.

You will collaborate with risk, compliance, senior and executive-level stakeholders to strengthen ING’s resilience framework. Your expertise in CPS230, crisis management, and risk mitigation will drive critical safeguarding initiatives across the organization.

This role would suit a seasoned business continuity risk specialist with experience implementing CPS230, who has the capacity to engage executive stakeholders, drive crisis preparedness and drive operational resilience across the bank.

Ready to make an impact?

What you’ll do

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of ING’s Resilience & Continuity Strategy
  • Advise senior management & executives on risk assessments, resilience governance, and business continuity planning
  • Oversee governance activities and submitting insights to the Risk & Compliance Committee and executive boards
  • Conduct business impact analyses and identifying gaps in recovery strategies to improve resilience
  • Facilitate periodic testing, simulation exercises, and crisis management drills across the bank
  • Drive training programs, ensuring staff are well-equipped to handle resilience and continuity responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (ie. CPS 230) as well as ING’s policies and driving industry best practices

What we’re looking for

  • 15+ years of experience in Financial Services, with 10+ years in resilience, business continuity, or risk management
  • Proven expertise in CPS 230 compliance and regulatory obligations (or equivalent)
  • Experience in crisis simulations, continuity planning, and resilience assurance reviews
  • Strong leadership skills—engaging executive stakeholders, presenting insights to the board, and driving resilience strategies
  • Ability to identify and assess risks, ensuring robust recovery frameworks and response plans
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.

What’s in it for you?
