The Mission

We are a team of experienced frontend, backend and OPS engineers, and we deliver end-to-end functionalities for the OneWeb application. OneWeb is the global internet banking web application used in ING Group’s market leader countries: Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany.

More specifically, our team is responsible for developing, delivering and improving the global payment solutions and features for ING Netherlands & Belgium. We aim to build a true unified global experience for our customers.

Your day to day

• Create and Update Web Components with the help of Javascript, HTML and CSS;

• Write clean code and test it when applicable;

• Participate in Agile ceremonies to discuss progress on current tasks and offer expertise for creating future tasks according to business requirements;

• Use Azure DevOps for:

  • Keeping track of tasks;

  • Review code;

  • Publish the web components;

  • Release new features to our customers;

What you’ll bring to the team

Experience: more than 3 years of JavaScript;

• Experience in working with component-based Web frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue);

• Experience in writing unit tests;

• Some working knowledge with code versioning (Git) and code quality and formatting (ESLint and Prettier);

• Some understanding of the Agile approach in software development;

• Willingness to learn and a passion for the visual part of the Web.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps;

• Some experience with Web Components;

• Some understanding of Web Accessibility.

Education: University background in Computer Science and/or Informatics.

Foreign languages: Excellent at communicating in English.
