Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst to join our Retail Credit RiskTeam within ING Risk Domain.

The responsibility of this team is to oversight the risk in the Spanish Retail Lending portfolio during the whole credit lifecycle, and our way of working is 100% flexible, in small subject-expert areas, and with a continuous interaction with international teams.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst you will:

Positively contribute to the risk management of the Spanish Mortgage Portfolio, particularly through your reporting, monitoring and communication capabilities.

Collaborate to identify and mitigate, risks ensuring appropriate levels of capital and provisions, and full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Promote Mortgage Portfolio growth on a profitable and sustainable fashion.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Statistics, Maths or Econometrics.
• Proven experience on risk management for retail lending portfolios, particularly mortgage lending.
• Excellent knowledge of statistics and/or mathematics, as well as programming, in SAS and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of macroeconomic trends, banking and financial industry, preferably on the Retail Lending side.
• Independent, creative and pro-active mind-set. Focus on delivering pragmatic and feasible solutions.
• Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
• Eager to lead projects.

Estamos buscando a una persona con talento y entusiasmo para unirse a nuestro equipo de Retail Credit Risk dentro del área de Riesgos de ING comoAnalista de Portfolio de Riesgo de Credito.

La responsabilidad de este equipo es supervisar el riesgo de la cartera de préstamos Retail en España durante todo el ciclo de vida del crédito. Nuestra forma de trabajar es 100% flexible, en pequeñas áreas de especialización, y con una interacción continua con equipos internacionales.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

ComoSenior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst, tus funciones serán:

• Contribuir positivamente a la gestión del riesgo de la cartera hipotecaria en España, especialmente a través de tus capacidades de reporting, monitorización y comunicación.
• Colaborar en la identificación y mitigación de riesgos, asegurando niveles adecuados de capital y provisiones, y el cumplimiento total de los requisitos regulatorios.
• Impulsar el crecimiento de la cartera hipotecaria de forma rentable y sostenible.

¿Qué estamos buscando?

• Grado universitario o equivalente en Economía, ADE, Estadística, Matemáticas o Econometría.
• Experiencia demostrada en gestión de riesgos para carteras de préstamos Retail, especialmente préstamos hipotecarios.
• Excelente conocimiento de estadística y/o matemáticas, así como de programación en SAS y SQL.
• Fuertes habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas. Conocimiento de tendencias macroeconómicas, del sector bancario y financiero, preferiblemente en el ámbito de Retail Lending.
• Mentalidad independiente, creativa y proactiva. Enfoque en ofrecer soluciones pragmáticas y viables.
• Dominio del inglés y del español.
• Motivación para liderar proyectos.
