Job Description

As an Expert Lead, you are responsible for driving the performance and output of a high performing team with each individual bringing unique expertise to the table. You will act as a foreman-style leader, which means hands-on, present on the floor, and actively involved in broader change initiatives.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery outcomes while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and adaptability. As a people lead you support the team in their personal development plans, coach and mentor team members, and foster a solution-focused, team-oriented culture that is anchored in our Orange Code behaviors. You balance leadership with robust delivery and oversight of delivery of your team members by nurturing talent, removing impediments, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ultimately driving impactful change.

Your team plays a pivotal role in design and deployment of enterprise solutions including measures, dynamic reports, and interactive dashboards to track FM client P&L and provide various MI and data analytics insights.

There are few distinct roles in the team: The ClientP&L roles are business-focused experts translating the business needs into technical solutions, the MI & Data roles are highly technical and data oriented and ComplyING specialists focus on data analytics to execute pre-trade control monitoring.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Overall accountability for the delivery of your own stories and features and those of the team contributing as one team towards the sustainable and high-quality delivery of changes;

  • Owning and overseeing the local delivery roadmap, aligning initiatives with strategic objectives, and ensuring stakeholder engagement and team buy-in throughout;

  • Providing guidance and direction in embedding regulatory and policy changes in our technical solutions, ensuring teams are equipped with a clear understanding of implications and empowered to act decisively;

  • Performing impact assessments, mobilizing cross-functional teams to evaluate business, operational, and process-level effects, and translating insights into strategic decisions;

  • Take ownership of the solution design, supporting the team in developing scalable, innovative blueprints that elevate client experience and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Driving delivery of high-impact solutions, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability across squads to achieve consistent, standardized outcomes.

  • Overseeing documentation and governance, ensuring requirements, assessments, and solution designs are captured with rigor and endorsed by key stakeholders.

  • Championing Agile leadership, modeling best practices in stand-ups, refinements, and planning sessions, and cultivating agility and responsiveness across teams.

As People Lead, you are entrusted with shaping a thriving, high-impact team by championing growth, alignment, and performance. Your leadership responsibilities include:

  • Inspiring a culture of continuous learning, actively supporting your team’s personal and professional development through coaching, mentorship, and tailored growth opportunities;

  • Empowering self-steering and responsibility, coaching your Expertise based Team to operate with autonomy, ownership, and a strong sense of purpose;

  • Fostering a collaborative, output driven mindset, leveraging the diverse perspectives from the members in the team to achieve the best possible results;

  • Leading the full employee lifecycle, including strategic workforce planning, recruitment, development, and performance management—balancing individual aspirations with evolving business needs;

  • Driving team engagement and motivation, cultivating a positive, inclusive culture that gives a sense of belonging and encourages innovation and resilience;

  • Translating strategic vision into team-level execution, aligning goals and priorities with departmental and enterprise-wide objectives

We are looking for:

  • Team player with good communication skills (Fluent in English) and experienced in working in an international environment.

  • Proactive, hands on - can-do mentality, on top of your delivery (no surprises) and positive mind-set

  • The ability to facilitate decision-making to drive complex design issues to a conclusion.

  • Strong organizational sensitivity: ability to understand and consider the underlying issues, opportunities and dynamics of an international organization with multiple functional and hierarchical lines, dealing with multiple (sometimes conflicting) interests.

  • A strong resilience: the ability to navigate through ambiguity and simplify complexity without losing essence

Competencies and experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles

  • 8+ years working experience in the international environment and multicultural teams

  • 3+ years of experience in leading and guiding own team
