Detalles del trabajo

Join a bank that’s different. We’re digital-first, customer-focused, and driven by purpose. At ING, you’ll be empowered to challenge the status quo, grow your career, and help Australians stay a step ahead in life and business.

We’re looking for a Corporate Affairs Senior Manager to lead our external engagement strategy and elevate ING’s voice in Australia. This is your opportunity to make a real impact—on our business, our customers, and the way Australians bank.

As our Corporate Affairs Senior Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind ING’s relationships with government, media, and industry stakeholders. You’ll influence public policy, manage reputation, and ensure our messaging is aligned and impactful across the business.

This is a strategic, hands-on role where you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, collaborate closely with teams across Legal, Risk, ESG, and Marketing, and represent ING as a visible and credible voice in the public sphere.

What you’ll do

  • Lead ING’s external engagement with government, media, and industry bodies.
  • Shape and execute strategies that influence public policy and enhance our reputation.
  • Manage crisis communications and reputation risk.
  • Craft compelling submissions, briefings, and messaging for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across Legal, Risk, ESG, and Marketing to ensure alignment.
  • Represent ING at key forums and build strong external relationships.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, or external communications.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and policy insight.
  • Exceptional communicator—confident, clear, and persuasive.
  • Skilled at navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Agile, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.
  • Professional, politically neutral, and credible at all levels.

What’s in it for you?

  • Discounted ING Health Insurance
  • An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing
  • An IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity
