Quality Assurance Analyst in TM Optimisation (replacement contract)

• have a knowledge of topical financial crime issues related to money laundering, sanctions and fraud as well as a good working knowledge of the end-to-end CDD process,
• are able to interpret and disseminate complex data and perform analysis as required by the business,
• have good communication skills and like to collaborate with other capabilities/teams,
• are able to work well within a team and take initiatives to work independently when required,
• are experienced in delivering training to new and existing colleagues in a global organization,
• show openness to change and altering behaviors in order to work effectively when faced with new information or a changing situation.

You'll get extra points for

• relevant KYC certification, such as CAMS or ICA,
• knowledge of and experience in CB, WB, RT processes,
• experience working in an Agile environment,
• experience in developing Management Information tooling in Excel/Power BI and preparation of the Management Information reporting.

Your responsibilities:

• performing Quality Reviews on TM – Optimization investigations,
• determining focus areas for Quality Review and TMOI process opportunities,
• maintaining regular working relations with Operational Excellence specialist and specific processing unit contacts e.g., Leads, SMEs, etc.
• performing root cause analysis for the quality gaps, common errors identified and proposing potential improvements, preventive and mitigating measures,
• partnering with local organizations and Global teams to understand relevant regulatory requirements, quality opportunities, challenges, needs, gaps.
• performing project management-like activities related to Quality Review reporting, maintaining the team SharePoint, forms and trackers,
• giving and asking for constructive feedback,
• perform in-depth root cause analysis,
• organizing lessons learnt and facilitating knowledge sharing sessions.

Information about the squad:

AML Transaction Monitoring Optimisation Investigations (TMOI) team works together with Methods and Strategy, Analytics and Country Executions to review and implement the global AML transaction monitoring system to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the transaction monitoring tool. AML TM Optimisation Investigation Team performs reviews of cases including historical transactions  Below the Line (BTL) and Above the Line (ATL) in order to set thresholds. The team investigates a sample of alerts and concentrates on customer behaviors which have not been alerted previously in the BAU operations, due to missing coverage other parameters. The results of the reviews are used to determine if existing rules and parameters in mentioned rule based transaction monitoring system needs to be adjusted and / or to increase / assess the risk coverage.
