Proficient WebSphere Engineer

Within the IAAS Area of ING Tech Infra & Engineering Cloud Tribe we are looking for a proficient Websphere Engineer.

The team

The squad is responsible for the end-to-end Tomcat, WebSphere, Apache and JBoss stack deliveries, maintenance and innovation and on top of that the first and second day operations.  

Roles and responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the WebSphere stack using Ansible;

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation;

• Analysis of the current and future functional requirements.

• Participation in an international environment with IT projects for consumers of ING Tech;

• Access to the latest technology – Keeping your professional development up-to-date;

• Work experience as a WebSphere engineer;

• Knowledge of WebSphere 8.5 and 9.0;

• Knowledge of Ansible;

• Good oral and written English skills;

• Knowledge of Jython;

• Knowledge of Linux;

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Pre:

• Knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps;

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions;

• Knowledge of Agile methodology: Scrum, Kanban, DevOps;

• A certification in IBM WebSphere Application Server or a similar product.
