Fraud Alert Specialist is responsible for monitoring and detecting possible fraudulent transactions, performing fraud operations tasks, as well as preparing timely and accurate reports.

Job Description

Reviews fraud alerts/incidents based on transaction pattern, customer behavior, and other important factors to determine if alerts/incidents are suspicious or not. Performs transaction verification with customers as well as assists customers for fraud related concerns Initiates card or account blocking when necessary Reports unusual and suspicious customer transactions and/or behavior for immediate resolution Investigates customer fraud related disputes in an efficient and timely manner i.e. within the agreed time frame and takes necessary actions to recover funds Prepares the fraud investigation, regulatory, and other reports accurately and on time Coordinates with legal and law enforcements if required Performs alert handling and fraud operations tasks within SLA accuracy and timeliness standards Discusses fraud concerns and presents related reports to relevant stakeholders Executes other duties and tasks assigned to them whenever necessary
