Organizational context

Working Capital Solutions (WCS), part of Wholesale Banking/Transaction Services, is going through a strategic transformation program to redesign the future operating model across the ING network.

We are looking for a Process Expert in the WCS HUBs team in Bratislava, who’s role will be to support the (virtual) project team in initiatives impacting the operational model for WCS, among others: help redesign and document the future processes for WCS; anticipate the operational impact due to changes in IT systems; and support in the transition from current (AS-IS) to target (TO-BE) operations.

 As a Process Expert you will work closely with our colleagues in Operations (HUBs and countries), Product Management, Tech, and Structuring & Advisory (front office). The project is expected to run for several years, and the role is expected to transition to a Local (or Global) Process Lead in the HUBs.

Key responsibilities

  • You support in developing the process vision, objectives and KPIs together with the Global Process Lead and colleagues in the Value Chain (Product Management based in Amsterdam).
  • You help design and document TO-BE end-to-end processes for WCS following the new Target Operating Model.
  • You support in the migration of new processes from the network to the HUBs, Service transition, RSCA…etc.)
  • You support managing and monitoring the existing (AS-IS) processes, as well as maintaining the documentation and publication of these processes.
  • You help identify process improvements, and you coordinate process improvements, driven by the whole Value Chain, that can have an impact on operations.
  • You document, arrange and lead knowledge sharing sessions related to either to process migration or a system change.
  • You redesign processes as a result of Audit findings, SIF/ iRisk and/or findings identified during Test of Design or Test of Effectiveness. 
  • You act as an advisor to the Global Process Lead and other colleagues in the Value Chain on matters regarding operational processes.

Who are we looking for

  • You have 5+ years of (international) experience in complex organizations.
  • You have experience in driving and implementing change, and improving end-to-end processes, ideally as an owner of (part of) an internal process.
  • You have experience with process migrations, and documentation (ARIS, WPIs).
  • You have a strong consulting background. You can easily identify key risks and impact points while keeping the helicopter view and longer-term objectives in mind.
  • You are driven and willing to learn from the Value Chain.
  • You have excellent communication skills, and you have the ability to present in both formal and informal settings.
  • You have experience working in virtual teams, and have demonstrated stakeholder management skills (for instance, with a Global Process Lead or a Capability Lead).
  • You are orange (you are honest, prudent and responsible).
  • You have an academic or master’s degree, ideally in banking, finance or economics.
  • You are fluent in English.

Wage (gross)
From 2 168EUR/month

*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
