The opportunity

The Center of Expertise (CoE) Brand, Marketing & Communications is looking for a intern of the Business Management & Operations team covering all the departmental financials incl reporting and purchase ordering, procurement, non-financial risk, HR and (change) projects.

As a bank and one of the most familiar brands in the Netherlands, working for the CoE requires the ability to work in a highly dynamic and complex landscape, servicing the wide base of ING customers as well as all product tribes and business lines within ING NL.

The team

As an intern lead you’ll report into the Head of the Business Management and Operations and you’ll be collaborating with a team of five professionals.

At the heart of our CoE Brand, Marketing & Communications department, the Business Management & Operations team is dedicated to empowering our department with seamless and robust processes, sound financial stewardship and strategic risk mitigation.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Business Management: being the right hand of the Head of Business Management & Operations and support preparation of meetings.
  • Budget management: Helping the experts to monitor and control the marketing budget for ING NL,
  • and ordering / invoicing on marketing expenses.

How to succeed

  • Studying in Business Administration or similar.
  • Creative way of thinking and innovative mindset combined with a being team player, fun and engaging attitude.
  • Passion for the banking business and Marketing, Brand & Communications in particular.
  • • Fluent in English speaking and in (copy) writing. Strong communication skills.
