Expected start date and duration: 1st September 2026 (6 months)

Loan Syndication / Loan Sales (LS) Gain hands-on experience in the loan markets across EMEA, working on high-impact transactions covering Project Finance, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate, and Corporate and Financial Institutions related financing. As an intern, you'll support leading the underwriting and coordination of syndicated loan transactions for top-tier corporates, private equity firms, and infrastructure investors while helping distribute deals to banks, insurers, pension funds, and investment managers. You'll contribute to major acquisition financings and strategic financings while learning from seasoned professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Ranked as a top-5 Bookrunner in EMEA, ING offers a unique opportunity to develop analytical, communication, and teamwork skills while building a strong foundation in capital markets. As intern you will be working in a diversified team (+30 professionals) and take-on the responsibilities of an Analyst, including:

  • Monitor loan market dynamics and help prepare insightful market updates; and
  • Conduct investor and comparable analyses to support pricing and positioning;
  • Prepare pitch books and put your insights into client presentations;
  • Prepare syndication strategies and advice for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Work on live transactions and contribute throughout the syndication process, from launch to closing

  • You’re currently pursuing an University degree, (Bachelor or Master degree) and already living in the Netherlands
  • During the duration of your internship at ING, it is mandatory to be enrolled at a Dutch university
  • Prior experience through internships is of added-value but not a pre-requisite
