Are you passionate about data and finance? Ready to apply your academic knowledge in a dynamic banking environment? ING’s Corporate Sector Lending Netherlands (CSL NL) team is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Reporting, Monitoring & Lending Analytics (RMLA) Team in Amsterdam.

The team

The CSL NL department serves major Dutch multinationals and subsidiaries of global companies. ING Wholesale Bank provides a range of banking products such as Overdrafts, Revolving Credit Facilities, Term Loans and Trade Facilities. Our team is composed of driven professionals across four teams: Industrials, Energy & Logistics; Retail, Food, Tech & Services; Internationals; and RMLA.

About the role

As an intern, you’ll work closely with two team members to support the CSL NL department. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a hybrid work setting—partly from home and partly at our Amsterdam office. This internship offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally, expand your network, and experience an international work culture.

Roles and responsibilities

As member of the RMLA team, you will:

• Contribute to daily operations including product monitoring, reporting, internal credit ratings, and data quality monitoring
• Assist Transaction Managers with front-office projects and initiatives
• Support regulatory compliance efforts and help coordinate related projects.
• Collaborate with other front office departments and (international) support teams
• Learn about internal lending procedures and financial processes

• A HBO/WO student in Economics, Finance, or International Business Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• A collaborative team player with strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• You are an independent, ambitious, and result-oriented professional who is proactive, detail-focused, and creative in problem-solving
