Role & Responsibilities

As Product Manager Pricing Engine & Post Processing you will report hierarchically to the FMGT Pricing Core Product Area lead and are responsible for the Engine and Post Processing product. The FMGT Pricing Core Product Area is part of the FMGT Pricing Tribe.

As a Product Manager, you will undertake a leading coordination role to drive the needs and the priorities of the Pricing Engine and Post Processing stakeholders. You do this in close alignment with the Product Manager for the Data Product and continuously aim for end-to-end data and pricing solutions.

  • You combine market and systems knowledge, product management and business expertise to drive the end-to-end product vision and architecture the engine and post processing product.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quant teams who build and enhance pricing algorithms and post-processing workflows.
  • Closely work together with the Product Manager Pricing Data to integrate data and pricing engine solutions 
  • Steer for standardization and clear purpose with your team of Product Owners
  • Drive features from different programs or for strategic improvements related to your product.
  • Communicate and drive the priorities of the product backlog to the IT squads and steer the delivery.
  • As the main point of contact for various stakeholders (Trading, Sales, Operations, IT, Risk Management ), you will understand the challenges and identify how they can be solved.

Your key responsibilities

  • You own the product (end-to-end), you are accountable for the product vision, and you define the roadmap of the product to maximise business value through ordering and prioritisation of the Product Backlog under consideration of the stakeholders’ needs
  • In prioritising the backlog, you take into account both functional and non-functional requirements such as risks, reliability, IT Run, LCM, etc…
  • You are responsible for the “WHAT” a product team does; and you represent the stakeholder's voice.
  • You coordinate and ensure the alignment of the Product Owners across all the squads that are delivering to your Product Backlog, in order to minimise dependencies and maximise delivery and velocity.
  • You take part in quarterly prioritisation sessions (Quarterly Business Review) where you formalise the product demand and secure capacity. You also organise regular stakeholder updates where you provide product updates and escalate impediments.
  • You periodically discuss and review squad performance metrics with the Product Owners in your delivery area. You ensure that the product vision remains clear across the squad members.
  • You ensure adherence to Process Control Standards

How to succeed

  • Ability to manage a Product in an international context.
  • Ability to work successfully in multiple countries and cross functional team, make sure these different cultures and backgrounds will work together as one team; considering different habits, beliefs, languages and time-zones.
  • Understanding of Financial Markets, Pricing Models and Regulations.
  • Capability to steer the delivery of various initiatives with both direct and indirect influence.
  • Ability to create a manage Product roadmaps and Product Vision.
  • Ability to manage different stakeholders and their priorities
  • Ability to coach and steer Product owners in their development.
  • Ability to interpret and understand IT requirements and implications.
  • Strong ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate product vision and updates to stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and productivity
  • Flexibility to work in our fast-paced Financial Markets environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions

Proven track record and technical skills

  • Master’s degree level.
  • 5+ years’ proven track record at a Product Manager or scaled Product Owner role.
  • A personality and the capabilities to optimally function within an Agile environment.
  • Experience in realising change.
  • Experience with Financial Markets
  • Experience in a role closely interacting with Tech organizations.
  • Sound experience in building and realizing Product roadmaps.
  • Expertise in driving and steering multidisciplinary teams (BusDevOps).
  • Proven experience in project or product management across medium to large scale projects with medium to high impact.
  • Excellent level of English.
