The Mission

In the Security& Lending area we blend several types of products. The Security part covers projects that provide Authentication, Transaction approval and verification or Electronic Identification and Verification.

Your day to day

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

  • You help your team develop through coaching, mentoring and constant feedback

  • Software Development experience with Java stack technologies

  • Code review, knowledge sharing, testing

  • Prepare and participate in releases of software components using the automated CI/CD pipelines

  • You oversee the „how”, - how to build an efficient, high-quality solution based on the requested functionality

  • You are responsible for HR related activities: 1 to 1 meeting with your team members, performance management, target setting

  • You work with the recruitment team to attract, onboard and retain top talent (people management activities: 40%, engineering activities 60%)

What you’ll bring to the team

You hold a University/Master’s degree in Information Technology - mandatory

Experience with coaching and motivating team members

Relevant experience designing Java based backend applications using following technologies, tooling, frameworks:

  • Spring, SpringBoot

  • DB technologies (preferably Cassandra, SQL Server, Oracle)

  • Experience with Kotlin and/or other JVM languages is considered a plus

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, secure coding tools (e.g.Checkmarx) is a plus

  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g.Prometheus) and distributed logging (ELK stack) 

  • Experience with asynchronous communication (e.g. Kafka)

  • Familiar with CI & CD, code quality (Azure DevOps, Gitlab)

  • Experience in working using the Agile methodology

  • Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with microservices, in security-oriented applications

  • Network or infrastructure components

  • Financial application development
