Real Estate Concept and Project Portfolio Manager – Centre & South

Within CREFS (Centre of Expertise for Corporate Real Estate & Facility Services) we are looking for a Real Estate Concept and Project Portfolio Manager. We are looking for someone that takes ownership and makes it happen, that has an enthusiasm for helping others to be successful and a capability for always being a step ahead. Your role and work environment

The overarching goal of CREFS is to continuously improve both employee and customer experience through a service and workplace offering that meets their evolving needs, while maintaining quality, efficiency, and cost control. We do this by creating high-performing and motivating work environments for employees and delivering smooth and consistent experiences for our customers across all branches.

CREFS is responsible for designing, developing, and managing innovative, sustainable, and user-centric workspaces, while ensuring the performance and quality of facility services. We manage actually 250K sqm representing 160 buildings (three main buildings, 14 regional buildings, 140 standard branches and other properties).

CREFS is structured into 2 key pillars, being Real Estate & Facilitiy services. The Real Estate team is responsible for the implementation of the building strategy, workplace design and fit out changes, asset management, real estate transactions, lifecycle maintenance, energy management, project delivery and ESG compliance.

Key responsibilities

Demand Management:

  • engage with commercial segment management in order to understand objectives and requirements

  • engage with stakeholders on project scope and definition

Program Management

  • Annual budget forecast, forecast updates and financial reporting on the projects portfolio

  • Managing of projects & program portfolio (on timing, budget and quality)

Project Management

  • Establish project definition & design based on stakeholder information

  • Approve project organisation and process

  • Organise approval for project budget, preliminary design, definitive design

  • Approve contractors and contracts

  • Report to all stakeholders

Formula Management

  • Advise and assist in implementing Global branding strategy and guidelines; analyse trends and market evolution

  • Advise and assist with workplace solutions for new fitting out projects, including deviations demanded by the business

  • Challenge and approve workplace solutions and/or design for client meeting area’s

How to succeed

You’re the Real estate Concept and Project Portfolio manager we’re looking for if you recognize yourself below:

  • A master's degree in engineering, architect or equal by experience

  • 5 years’ experience in managing building transformation projects

  • A proactive and autonomous attitude that translates into flexibility when deadlines are due

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Frensh, Dutch and English

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
