Risk Management Track – Safeguard the Future of Banking

Are you a recent graduate or an early-career risk professional with big ambitions and a passion for shaping the future of financial decision-making? Join our 18-month International Talent Programme in the Risk Management track—a development-focused journey designed to accelerate your growth into a future risk expert or strategic advisor.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across key risk domains, contribute to impactful projects, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation. Whether your passion lies in credit risk, compliance, or regulatory strategy, this programme offers a tailored path to help you thrive.

What You’ll Bring – Core Competencies

No matter your specialisation, we’re looking for individuals who demonstrate:

  • Analytical strength: You have a solid academic foundation—ideally a master’s in Econometrics, Economics, Law, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics—and a strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Risk awareness: You understand the importance of balancing opportunity and caution, and you’re confident in standing behind your decisions, even when they challenge the status quo.
  • Stakeholder engagement: You communicate clearly across levels, collaborate effectively, and contribute to a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Growth potential: You’re enthusiastic, driven, and humble, with international or extracurricular experience and a maximum of two years of professional experience. You’re fluent in English—Dutch or French is a plus and opens doors to more teams and roles.

Choose Your Path – Explore Our Risk Domains

The International Talent Programme (ITP) in Risk Management consists of three rotations, each lasting six months. Over the course of 18 months, you’ll explore the core areas of risk and build a strong foundation for your future career.

Your rotations may include:

  • Credit & Trading Risk
  • Balance Sheet Risk
  • Risk Services
  • Compliance
  • Operational Risk Management
  • Regulatory Affairs

Many trainees also choose to go abroad for one of their rotations, gaining international experience.

After completing the programme, you’ll transition into a permanent role tailored to your interests.
