Mission

As a Sr. Product Manager within the KYC Tribe, you will be implementing and managing KYC Processes for both Private Individuals & Business Banking clients;

Your Day to Day

  • Initiate change based on feedback from internal stakeholders, customer feedback and business objectives.
  • Negotiate scope with business partners to align on objectives around time to the market, effort and value.
  • Responsible for the analysis, identification and quantification of opportunities for new features and new ideas.
  • Create specifications for IT team and follow up until the development is in production. Make sure that testing is done properly and insure a high level of customer experience.
  • Responsible for the documentation necessary according to internal and external regulations related to KYC area and for the specifications needed to be included in the sales, support and marketing materials.
  • Analyze data and user feedback in order to obtain a frictionless KYC process.
  • Follow up market trends, new technologies and legal requirements and come up with initiatives meant to maintain or improve ING’s competitive advantages.
  • Act as third line of support for customer support & sales department.
  • Take an active role in the QBR planning and execution.
  • Actively participate in AGILE ceremonies of the squad. 

What you bring to the team

  • University degree in related fields preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in banking & 3+ years proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding ofglobal and local regulatory frameworks (e.g. KYC legislation, FATCA/CRS) and industry best practice.
  • User journey design thinking and customer testing across digital services.
  • Capacity to come up with new innovative ideas on automation and digitization of existing flows.
  • Ability to interpret and/or write business documentation and process specifications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, innovative, problem solving and follow-up skills with the ability to meet time sensitive deadlines; capacity to work under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Romanian).
