Security Incident Responder (Trainee)

We are looking for you, if you:

  • enjoy gaining knowledge and experience in Cyber Security Incident Response field,
  • want to work in diverse environment,
  • have analytical approach to problem solving,
  • have knowledge in at least one of the fields: OS administration, networking, public cloud,
  • prefer work in group rather than solo.

English level - B2

You'll get extra points for:

  • any knowledge and/or experience in Cyber Security,
  • studies profile corresponds with CyberSec.


Your responsibilities:

  • response on incidents related with potential misuses or threats,
  • complex, active analysis in diverse environment,
  • communication with various internal entities,
  • taking coffee and tea time with your peers :),
  • being opened for constructive feedback.

Information about the squad:

The Global CISO organization of ING is responsible to assist ING management, business and other tribes in providing customer friendly services in a safe and secure way. Business leaders and CISO are jointly responsible for bank-wide security. CISO is mandated to drive required change in all domains, business and IT. Within CISO, the Security Defense Center (SDC) is responsible for security incident management, threat response, threat hunting and forensics.

The security incident responder works within the SDC and is responsible for security incident handling. Apart from this core task, the security incident responder will also take up responsibilities in threat response and forensics. Development of an expertise area is also part of the job.

With the expertise on security incident response, he or she will deliver necessary know how and skills within the squad to realize the squads shared purpose to mitigate cyber and insider attacks as soon as possible in order to minimize business impact for ING, day by day.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Intern I”.
