Join ING Luxembourg as a Middle Officer – Wholesale Banking Client Services

Are you eager to work at the heart of financial markets and play a key role between Front Office and Operations? ING Luxembourg is strengthening its Wholesale Banking Client Services team and is looking for a Middle Officer who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and solution‑driven.

Your role

As a Middle Officer, you are a central player in the value chain. You ensure the accuracy, integrity, and smooth execution of financial transactions while actively contributing to risk mitigation and operational excellence. Acting as a trusted partner to the Front Office, you help keep daily operations running efficiently in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Your key responsibilities:

Trade Support & Control
Validate and monitor daily trades across multiple asset classes (FX, bonds, equities, derivatives, funds), ensure accurate booking, and manage the full trade lifecycle (confirmations, settlements, corporate actions).
Operational Risk & Controls
Perform daily controls to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance, identify and escalate operational incidents, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Position & Cash Reconciliation
Analyze and resolve breaks in collaboration with Back Office teams, validate cash movements, and ensure timely settlement.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Produce operational reports, support regulatory reporting, and monitor KPIs linked to the operational environment.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Act as a key contact for the Front Office and work closely with Risk Management, Compliance, Back Office, and audit teams.

Your profile:

Solution‑oriented approach
Comfortable with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Your background:

Degree in Economics, Banking, or Financial Services
A first experience in banking or customer services is an asset
Proficient in English and French (mandatory)
