At ING we are looking for an intern for the Investment Strategy Department

Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic intern to join our Investments and Funds Entrusted Tribe, more specifically, the Investment Strategy unit.

This team is responsible for producing and disseminating economic intelligence both inside and outside the bank.

You will help us lay the foundations for a macro/investment office function.

You will also help the team create and deliver content that helps customers change their perception of the bank.

Your key responsibilities:
• Assistance in the preparation of reports related to macroeconomic developments.
• Maintenance and exploitation of database (Macrobond).
• Preparation of reports and presentations on functional monitors (macroeconomics, banking, and financial markets).

• Students or recent graduates with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in business or economics, no previous experience required.
• Passionate about financial markets and macroeconomics.
• A born financial news follower.
• Data-driven, with common sense and attention to detail.
• Good learning ability.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Great organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to make effective presentations: effective storytelling, excellent PowerPoint skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Previous experience of using Bloomberg would be an advantage.
• Passionate about innovation, new market trends and future thinker.
• Able to work in an autonomous way, to take initiative and to make things happen with a can-do attitude.
• Good team player, willing to collaborate with different people.
• Particularly good oral and written English skills, with at least level C1.
• Ability to work at an international level.
• Minimum availability of 6 months, renewable according to the university's criteria.

• Flexible schedule and 100% flexible e-working Work or e-work? We have a totally flexible model: keeping both our customers and your colleagues in mind, you can choose the one that best suits you all. In this team we like to meet physically a couple of times a week to spend more time together.
Your studies come first. You will be able to fit your work around your exams and presentations at university. But we are looking for someone who can ideally work with us full time (8-hour day), except on Fridays when we leave earlier.

• Free company shuttle
It doesn't matter where you live. We have 6 routes (North, Central, South, A5, A42 and A6) to get you to our ING office in Madrid comfortably.
