Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic IT Chapter Lead to join our IT leadership team of Human Connection Tribe.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Human Connection IT Chapter Lead you will:

• Lead a chapter of up to 10 Software Engineers 

• Bring an experienced Software Engineer background  

• Design, develop, test and deploy the code and practices that will shape speed up the development of software, ensuring that they meet the requirements of functionality, quality and performance of the customer 
• Deliver in Production a working software by giving the best use to technology and development practices 
• Support in Production by analysis and fixing any bugs that occurs. Contribute to improve the technical discipline by collaborating with the cross technical chapter. Learn of errors. 

As an expert in the area, you specifically add value on that technical layer. 

In your tribe along with the ITAL, 

• ensure a highly skilled and motivated team 
• ensure a safe, open, experimental, continuous learning, collaborative culture 

• help improve our engineering practices 
• are responsible of the transformation agenda applicable to the assets of the domain 
• are responsible of keeping the alignment with group standards 
• are responsible of ensuring the required levels of service in all environments with the assets under scope

Proven track record and technical skills

Essential: 

• Java, Spring, Microservices patterns and practices, Docker, Openshift/Kubernets 
• Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, Software Craftmanship, TDD... 
• Best practices in testing 
• DevOps and Agile culture
• Experience in project management 

Nice to have: 

• Logging, monitoring and alerting microservices 
• Hexagonal architecture 
• Feature Flags 
• Contract Testing 

• Reactive programming 
• Experience in the IoT or AI fields

• Engineering’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience 
• Passionate 
• Strong analytical, people management and communication skills 

• Able to work in an autonomous way and to take initiative 
• Loving to collaborate with different people 
• Making things happen and ‘can do’ attitude 
• Preferably with managerial experience within an agile organization, and inspiration to continuing working in this matter.
