We’re on the hunt for an experienced Senior Product Owner to join Mortgages Originations team. 

This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.

Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with strong experience in agile delivery, stakeholder management, and a passion for driving digital transformation in the mortgage domain.

As Senior Product Owner you’ll report to the Delivery Lead. The Senior Product Owner will take a leading role within the delivery squad. They will take the responsibility for the life-cycle of an initiative from solution design through to development, launch & support.

You have responsibility to lead the delivery of automation and digitisation initiatives by prioritising the product backlog, owning the product vision and roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. They manage vendor relationships, coach team members, and ensure alignment with Legal, Risk, and Compliance, while clearly communicating decisions and driving continuous improvement


What you’ll do

  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog to maximise business value and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap on behalf of all business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define MVPs, and deliver automation and digitisation initiatives.
  • Work closely with vendors to document requirements and implement changes effectively.
  • Coach and support other Product Owners and Business Analysts working on related projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding Product Owners and cross-functional squads.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and deliver technology solutions in complex, agile environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse teams and negotiate priorities.
  • Deep problem-solving capabilities and a proactive, can-do attitude to overcome delivery challenges.
  • Experience in the mortgages or financial services domain, ideally with knowledge of credit operations.
  • Passion for digital transformation and continuous improvement, with a focus on enhancing customer and operational outcomes.
