Job Description

Product Onboarding is responsible in ensuring all ING Financial Markets business activities are at all times compliant with internal policies and external regulations. As part of the team:

  • You are expected to have keen knowledge of financial products, processes and regulations.
  • You are able to identify exceptions and address issues independently.
  • You are a fast-paced individual who can adapt to ever-changing regulations.
  • You have the ability to conduct decision-making in accordance to ING’ Agile Way of Working and with the ING’s orange code

Main roles and responsibilities

  • Ensure that client is compliant to all regulatory requirements and ING internal policies (Eg. CDD, FATCA, CRS, W8, MiFID, EMIR, etc) before trading with particular FM product.
  • Facilitate in setting up and reactivation of deal capture code in FO/BO systems like Murex, Summit and Bloomberg.
  • Liaise and advise front office and other stakeholders (Eg Risk and data Management) regarding missing regulatory requirements to facilitate product onboarding.
  • Ensure the product onboarding requests from are processed within the prescribed Service Level Agreements.
  • Assist in back office concerns related but not limited to settlement and payments issues of closed deal codes due to non-compliancy in regulations.
  • Advise Credit Risk Management team as to what regulatory requirements is missing prior to setting up Pre-Settlement Limits.
  • Analyze characteristics of financial markets products to identify the impact in regulatory requirements and regional exceptions.
  • Locate and define process improvement opportunities and effectively communicate status and progress to CoE.
  • Assist in implementation of new requirements.
  • Responsible for continuous update of knowledge assets such as Logbook and WPIs
  • Responsible to apply Agile Way of Working in discussing “first time right” and problems encountered within the team and propose effective solution.
  • Work closely with CoE, process managers and Bratislava counterparts to achieve BAU success.
  • Perform daily and monthly quality checks and reports.
  • Proactively engage in the team stand-ups and huddle.
