The Media, Effectiveness & Insights team at the Center of Expertise (CoE) Brand, Marketing & Communications is looking for a Digital Marketing & Media consultant to drive change within ING on full funnel media strategy and implementation with our agencies.

Within the Center of Expertise, you work together with the other communication and brand specialists on our main objective sustainable growth, through a consistent and lively brand & business approach.

The team

As Digital Marketing & Media consultant you’ll join the Media, Effectiveness & Insights team and report into the Head of Media, Effectiveness & Insights. The team consists of 1 lead and 7 experts, of which 4 media experts, 1 data analytics expert and 2 data insights experts.

Roles and responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for media strategy, planning advise and execution with agency of integrated campaigns that contribute to our brand and business objectives.
    Within the Center of Expertise, you work together with the other communication specialists on our main objective sustainable growth, through a consistent and lively brand & business approach.

  • You contribute to the implementation of ING's brand & business strategy – a consistent approach that motivates our people and our customers.

  • You advise on and implement full-funnel campaigns in combination with 'always on' performance and content (earned, owned and paid) layers.

  • You work closely with colleagues from the business to contribute to both the commercial and brand objectives.

  • You manage our media agencies and are responsible for our strategic media partnerships like Google and Tiktok.

  • You help building the ING brand with creative (digital) marketing concepts and continuous optimalization of our client’s customer journey experience.

  • You develop the full funnel campaigns in cooperation with our agencies, with elements like social media, influencers, TV, radio, (D)OOH, SEA/SEO and display.

  • In your work you use data insights  from e.g. attribution and media effectiveness to make well balanced choices in marketing.

  • You maintain the stakeholder field and build your own network of stakeholders.

How to succeed

  • An education in Marketing or Communications at HBO or University level.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing and/or advertising/communications.

  • Experience in working with various internal & external stakeholders, preferably in leading and conducting external agencies.

  • Strong multitasking, accuracy and prioritising skills in a fast paced environment.

  • Proven experience of developing and implementing full funnel marketing and a track record to deliver on ROAS (Marketing Mix Modelling).

  • Ability to work with Adobe suite and Google Marketing Platform.

  • Extensive knowledge of the Dutch media, publisher & platform landscape with relevant experience in media contracting.

  • An analytical and data-driven attitude.

  • Excellent language skills in Dutch and English.

  • You understand why conducting a coherent brand experience is important and inspire and challenge the business accordingly. With your creativity and drive you will contribute to improving our impact.

  • You know how to convince – even when there is resistance.

  • You can independently advise on, manage and execute projects.
