The Opportunity

Payment & Settlement Services (PSS) where we deliver professional services in designing, building and operating high quality and efficient payment, settlement and open banking services. We leverage our scalable payments target stack and the experise of our people, to deliver these services. 

The Team

Next to the squad, you will also be part of a chapter. The chapter consists of test engineers from different squads.

To give you a glimpse of our tech stack:

  • Cucumber, Gatling, Karate, RestAssured, Postman

  • Java, Springboot, Akka, JMS, Kafka, Tibco BW

  • Azure

  • Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana

  • Ansible

  • Cassandra, Oracle, H2 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You will be sitting in a platform squad responsible for setting up testing standards for other squads, and implementing smart test automation solutions which can make other squads life easier.
  • With your solution,you make sure the payment applications are of high quality on all aspects (functional, performance, resilience, security).
  • Within the chapter, you focus on quality and continuous improvement of yourselves, your colleagues, our products and processes. For example improving test frameworks, bringing in new tools, improving the CI/CD setup, and implementing new test frameworks, … 

How to succeed

We highly welcome people who can bring good experience to the team and aspire to grow:

  • You are comfortable writing Java (at least 3 years experience desired)
  • You have at least 3 years experience using Cucumber or a similar BDD tool in testing BACKEND systems
  • Your testing experience is at least 5 years and in those years you have executed different types of testing (functional, performance, resilience, security)
  • You have good experience setting up test automation frameworks yourself using Java, and maintaining them
  • You understand Agile testing, and have sufficient experience working in an agile environment (at least 5 years)
  • You have hands on experience with CI/CD
  • Preferably ISTQB or TMap certified
  • You are quality focused and know how to advocate this towards the teams
  • Fluent in English
