Business Intelligence Engineer (Power BI)



ING Hubs Poland is hiring!

We are looking for you if:

  • you have experience in building interactive Power BI dashboards and know data visualization best practices,
  • you are able to collect and analyze business requirements, and demonstrate delivered solution to the international stakeholders,
  • you can write complex SQL queries,
  • you worked with the data from various data sources SQL Server Database, SharePoint, JSON, Flat files, Excel, APIs etc.,
  • you know how to cleanse and prepare the data to build efficient data models,
  • you worked with Power BI Service or Power BI Report Server and have experience in dashboard access administration,
  • you have familiarity in Data Engineering, Microsoft Fabric,
  • you worked in the Agile organization,
  • you are willing develop and improve Business Intelligence environment.

You’ll get extra points for:

  • you have some Data Engineering or Data Science background,
  • you know IBM Data Stage
  • you have Microsoft certification in one of the following domains: Power BI, MS Fabric, Power Platform, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Engineering, Azure Administration
  • the ability to proactively introduce improvements and innovations,
  • ability to find alternative solutions,
  • attention to details,
  • if you are an open minded person, eager to learn, face new challenges and develop cooperation with colleagues from other ING Group units.

Your responsibilities:

  • analyzing business requirements: 25%,
  • data visualization, data modeling, building ETL processes: 45%,
  • maintaining existing dashboards and reporting solutions: 10%,
  • development of Business Intelligence environment: 10%,
  • preparing ad-hoc reports and analysis: 10%.

Work in a large international team, in cooperation with many units of the ING Group. The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
