Job Description:

Work with the Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) team which manages the credit exposure of trading counterparties and determining risk appetite by analyzing the business and financial profile of counterparties, assessing the inherent risks in derivatives and securities financing products in alignment with commercial needs. Assess the credit and financial strength of financial institutions through fundamental credit analysis using both quantitative and qualitative factors. Be the lead credit specialist in broker/dealers while also covering other Financial Institution including banks, hedge funds and other asset managers, REITs, broker/dealers, clearing houses and exchanges. Perform counterparty reviews, assign internal risk ratings and determine credit limits. Evaluate and assess the risk of securities financing and derivatives transactions. Approve trading limits (in line with internally assigned approval authority mandates) and ad-hoc transactions. Actively manage relationships with internal external stakeholders, including direct contact with trading counterparties. Negotiate credit and margin terms in trading documentation, particularly ISDA/CSA and Repo & Securities Lending Agreements. Assist with US regulatory reporting requirements. Participate in special projects as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Economics and minimum 5 years of banking experience in any occupation of financial risk specialist, credit risk associate, or related. Must have experience working with the following: credit and financial risks; accounting knowledge and balance sheet analysis; financial due diligence and analysis of different types of nonbank FI counterparties; US and EU banking/financial market regulations; applying holistic approach to risk management including non-financial risk areas; analyzing, validating, and reporting risks of counterparty credit exposure; valuation/pricing models for financial instruments such as derivatives and securities financing products. risk measurement for capital/financial market products; credit risk measurements including LGD, PD, and RWA; and market risk measurements including VaR and DVs; credit, funding and collateral valuation adjustment models ("xVAs"); advanced Excel knowledge including VBA programming; and reviewing and negotiating credit terms of legal documentation.
