As Process Mining Expert within the Employee Experience & Innovation team in global People Services, you will work on the development of a harmonized ING-people experience in a dynamic environment where employee needs, ING needs and operational excellence are central.

You make sure that ING’s key People processes deliver an easy, personal, relevant and instant experience and if not, that the right fixes are implemented in a consistent way across functions and locations. You will work closely with Global Process Leads, ING Hubs Service Centers and other stakeholders to deliver process frameworks and process flow maps that help us monitor and measure operational excellence. You will share a collective responsibility with your direct People Services colleagues to measure, monitor and improve ING’s performance with regards to operational excellence, through the design and implementation of process data to better serve and delight our employees. Furthermore you will drive the improvement initiatives identified, in close collaboration with the Process Leads. Starting point for all initiatives are the needs and expectations of our people (ING employees) and taking away any frictions that may prevent them from feeling enabled at work.

You will be based in Amsterdam.

  • Safe & Compliant - All services we deliver are meeting internal and external requirements such as SoX, GDPR, other local compliance guidelines and regulations.

You will be a member or the Employee Experience & Innovation team. We make sure that the complex machine of Global People Services, with all its systems processes & governance, works to give our people a smart and easy experience. We measure the experience of employees, identify areas of improvement and work with the rest of Global HR to implement new or improved solutions.

There will be several challenges to overcome:

  • Design, deliver and maintain End2End journeys for customers and ING colleagues across the globe.

  • Conduct process mining activities to ensure that we have the right data to identify friction and feed our process improvement roadmap.

  • Stakeholder alignment to deliver and support the delivery of our continuous process and service improvement ambitions as part of our Cross-domain Employee Experience strategy and plans.

  • Seducing business stakeholders with best-in-class journeys and undisputed data quality/ownership

Roles & responsibilities

  • Develop process maps, process flow measures and improvement opportunities with Process mining activities.

  • Design, monitor and improve global E2E processes according to employee insights and process flow data

  • Steer fact based on the run and drives change in the E2E value chain (e.g. escalations).

  • Monitor that consistent and comprehensive dashboards are in place to measure, benchmark and analyze process performance.

  • Lead process reviews and participate/align in Service Performance Boards.

  • Prioritize and decide on improvement initiatives in alignment with process participants; drives process improvements.

  • Involves appropriate stakeholders in process performance reviews, improvement decisions, planning and implementation of process improvements.

  • Review process performance and intervene accordingly.

  • Identifies performance gaps and launches remedial initiatives.​

As a successful People Process Mining expert you will also need:

  • You have a proven track record in driving Process Excellence initiatives

  • You have experience in Process mining and working with one or more Process mining solutions

  • Preferably you have a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt certification.

  • You have a significant track record in driving change and improving end-to-end processes.

  • You have a strong consulting background, have worked in different ING areas and you have thorough knowledge of and experience with ING’s international landscape.

  • You have (international) experience in complex organizations and a bird’s eye view on business processes, risks and associated controls.

  • You have an academic or master degree and are fluent in English.
